I'm not crazy though or got a bad one, right? It DOES feel different than the other Trek books lately?
Guess when the next book shows up, I can compare to see if it was a one-off or something they changed up in general.
Read a little out of order, and picked up Shocks of Adversity after this book, and felt 'right', so we'll see.
No you're not crazy. I think it's that the paper used is thinner than normal. Just enough to give it that floppy loose feel.
I really loved this book and I can't wait for the next one in the series. This is the best book released this year so far. None of the others can hold a candle to Rise of the Federation in my opinion. Thanks Chris for restoring my faith. I can only hope that next year's schedule will be less TOS heavy because I believe I'm done collecting them after all these years, but I will continue to buy the other series for sure.
