Tennant's era is classic who gone popular. All the ingredients are there
Except the distinctive mood, pace, and even much of the Doctor's characterisation (they even made a plot point of the huge change).

Everything from its insipid theme to its am-dram acting actually does more harm to the franchise than good.
Even the unusually inspired storylines with tight writing, and the occasional exceptionally good visual?
