Yeah, to me it seems a bit disingenuous to compare the damage in these two movies when Avengers barely showed the invading army even doing
anything except shooting up a few cars and menacing some civilians-- even though they far outnumbered our heroes and could have still killed scores of people and destroyed plenty of buildings. But by the time the battle is over, you get the feeling no more than 5 or 10 people died in the entire freakin city-- which is just absurd.
MOS may have gone a bit overboard with the destruction, but at least it didn't shy away from showing the real damage
that could occur during an epic event such as this.
