Got together with some friends earlier today to watch some classic Doctor Who at Alamo Drafthouse Slaughter. They gave me a ride across town to see Finding Neverland, this month's "Afternoon Tea" movie. Found out if I don't want the tea service (three cups of tea & three snacks of sammiches & cookies), I can get a free ticket on my employee discount.

I really liked that movie, too. It was so sad, but so sweet...

My friend Barbara came out to watch it with me, and then she gave me a ride from Lake Creek to the Village, where I will be watchin' the latest documentary from Drafthouse Filmes, A Band Called Death, in about half an hour.

Got a plan to go to the Ritz tomorrow for the last day of Summer of '83 movies...
