Yet, Quesada compares her emergence in the Marvel Universe to Avengers
#4 and the Silver Age return of Captain America. Which demonstrates that either Quesada has no idea what he's talking about or we simply don't know enough about her role in the Marvel Universe.
And I can't dismiss the idea that Marvel bought Angela solely to annoy Todd McFarlane. In the wider world, that move doesn't make any sense -- the man on the street has no idea who McFarlane is and may only have a glancing familiarity with Gaiman -- but Quesada is petty enough to do it.
On a tangential note, if Marvel if going to treat its multiverse in a pre-Crisis
DC fashion, as appears likely, I for one would really like to see the Ultraverse resurrected.
