One thing I would note is a problem with
Bridge Commander that I think only happens under XP. Specifically, when you open the installer, the percentage bar runs quickly to full, and then everything disappears.
You then have to just sit and wait for a substantial period of time, and there will be no indication that anything is occurring. For me, it usually takes between 10 and 15 minutes to actually start installing after the setup program seems to disappear, but it will eventually work if you wait long enough.
