Everyone's mileage varies, but I found the EA conference kinda weak, there just weren't many games there that interested me. Ubisoft's conference was better, but I'm disappointed that they showed no gameplay from Watch Dogs and Assassin's Creed 4. The AC4 reveal was particularly stupid, they showed a CG trailer with some fancy music, a guy came out and talked for a minute, then they showed an in-engine trailer with some fancy music... but no actual gameplay.
I'm noticing a trend at E3 this year: plenty of MMOs without ever calling them MMOs. Sunset Overdrive, The Crew, The Division... why can't they make singleplayer open world games instead of trying to network everything together?
