But yes there's some really awful things there, just hoping some plot kicks in and shoves them to the background.
This was only the 7nth episode!
Out of a 12-episode first season -- and with the first episode being double-length, we're actually 8/13 or nearly 62% of the way through. And the last episode I actually liked was #4.
Plus it increasingly seems that the awful things (at least for me) are
the core plot threads of the season: Irisa becoming a Mystical Chosen One, Quentin having a Harvey in his head telling him to kill people, the mysterious thing in the mines that hints of ancient astronauts... I'm seeing far more cliche here than orginality.
