Hell, sometimes Facebook is the best way to get a hold of people when they don't answer their phones or respond to texts.
If someone doesn't answer their phones when I call them or return my texts I no longer want to get a hold of them.
There are circumstances where someone has to be contacted, and FB profiles at least don't change every time someone moves.

Teenagers are smart to not do it.
Are they really being "smart", or are they avoiding it because their parents are on it? If your parents are doing something, isn't it by definition "uncool"?

Good riddance to facebook IMO
With hundreds of millions of users, I don't thnk it will disappear anytime soon. And today's teens may adopt it when they're in their twenties.
