I wanted to post a pic of my dinner last night in true facebook self absorbed tradition but no one had posted in the thread and I didn't want to post 3 times in a row. Then I started thinking, why don't I nag the thread to start posting pics of their own vegetarian food, whether it's a veg chillie or a sandwich or a salad or..
So. DO IT. I want to see other people's food.
It's totally not true what they say, you DO make friends with salad.
You got it. Even if it is just a salad. A big and fabulous salad, though! I went to the farmer's market today, and among other things I got my favorite tomato lady's tomatoes (they're better than candy). So here is dinner: kale, sunflower and broccoli sprouts, celery, and green onions, chickpeas and a mushroom lightly sauteed in garlic and olive oil, an avocado quarter, and homemade salad dressing (just a bit of tahini, vinegar, and lemon). It's a highish amount of fat for one meal, but I've doubled my strength and bike training this past week, and I'm fucking hungry.
