Went over to the Ritz yesterday for a Michael Cimino double feature. First up was YotD in 70mm, a copy of it that was owned by one of the Drafthouse film programmers. Mickey Rourke plays a racist Vietnam War veteran assigned by the NYPD to Chinatown. John Lone played the main villian who uses bloody tactics to take over the triad.

I thought it was an okay movie, not great, but not terrible.

Followed that up with a restored print of H'sG, the film that destroyed United Artists. And that was a terrible fuckin' movie, and only made worse by its three & a half hour run time.

Dear lord, that movie dragged on!!!

Came into work early today to see Mud before my shift.

I liked it. Its a good drama with a good cast, well worth checkin' out.

May try to get to the Village for a couple of movies tomorrow, since they're showin' To the Wonder and Graceland.

I got passes in the mail today for Iron Man 3 3D, but gave 'em to a coworker, since I have to work tonight.

Ah, well...I'll see it soon enough.
