It Does???? Was it ever used? I am re-watching Voyager from the start again
I only remember the groovey angle headed type 9 shuttles and the delta flyer that could do transwarp..
Actually... the episode where tom breaks the warp 10 barrier (and goes forward/back in time and eventually mutates into a lizard.. then knocks up the captain... ) wasnt that transwarp also?
If transwarp was determined to be unstable, what kind of propulsion does the Delta Flyer have?

What do you mean?
Voyager clearly had a Captains yacht first.
VOY also used an updated version of the TNG shuttles in some episodes (e.g., the one where Tuvok crashes on a moon with that group of "kids").
was supposed to be docked on the underside of the saucer, but apparently the producers never managed to take their head out of their ass long enough to notice that the art department had added such a detail. That's how the Delta Flyer was developed to solve a problem that didn't exist in the first place.
Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning.
