"Hero" is really a term defined by relative perception. People idolize excessively revere parents, neighbors, friends, etc. for accomplishing, what would otherwise be, the mundane all the time. The first lade of the United States admiring a woman who, through her job, became a strong role-model for a lot of women shouldn't be any stretch of the imagination--nor should calling her a "hero," semantics aside.
