I will not contest the T'Pol observation, however, I do disagree with your assessment of Mr. Spock. I don't think he was acting "super vulcan" rather he was looking to deny his human-half which is something different altogether.
Though, oddly enough, I do think Mr. Spock, in the end, became a sort of "super vulcan" as in logic being a path to a destination wherein he reached it - enlightenment, wisdom, perspective, etc. ...
