I was thinking about the various quotes on dedication plaques and wondering what other historical or literary lines would work well for a plaque's quote. The first comes to mind is this:
"...to strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield."
Here's another I found in a book recently:
"I had the ambition to go not only farther than man as gone before, but to go as far as it was possible to go."
Any others you can think of?
