It was actually Warp Coil
who got me to try climbing about a year ago. I highly recommend it - the first few times you'll be extremely sore (particularly in the forearms) but it's a fun way to stay in shape and you meet a lot of awesome people. The heights thing isn't a big deal because there's no real risk of ever falling on toprope.
