22. GoldenEye (A+)
Pierce Brosnan's first and best entry in the James Bond series. When this came out it must have seemed like we were on the verge of a new golden age for the character, but his subsequent films never really lived up to the promise of this installment, even if they had their strengths. But this is about as good as the fun Bond movies get, with numerous classic setpieces, and arguably the most memorable main villain. It's been quite a few years since I'd seen this, so it was enjoyable to reacquaint myself with it.
