Really honestly I didn't care much for it when it aired. One night I caught "Carpenter Street" late one night (the original episodes aired at 11:30 here) and then I saw "Twilight" and both I thought were really good. A year or two later I bought the entire series on DVD and spent the Christmas holidays watching the entire series; I feel in love with the show! I have watched the series several times since and must say that it is my second favorite Trek series behind TOS. It got a bad rap but it's pretty solid overall. Of course that is just my opinion, lol.
