Re: La-La Land Records to release 4-disc DS9 soundtrack set!

Disc Three features the huge array of guest composers who worked on Deep Space Nine, titled "New Recruits" and showcases the works of John Debney, Richard Bellis, David Bell, Gregory Smith and Paul Baillargeon.
Well, the Debney selections would have to be from "The Nagus" and/or "Progress" -- hopefully the former, since I remember liking that score. Bellis only did "The House of Quark," and Smith did "The Assignment," "Honor Among Thieves," and "Field of Fire." I don't recall what I thought of those scores.
Field of Fire is certainly a stand out score from season 7 so I hope it's included. The episode itself is forgettable which is why I don't think the score is remembered all that much. Definately Smiths best work.

I'm surprised David Bell is only on the guest disc. But then again his work tended to be repetitive from time to time. But he did have both memorable light hearted and action scores from the series.
