If you haven't checked it out already, Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park has some similarly scenic spots. From Santa Cruz up Highway 9 through there is a really nice drive. |
I have! I love it, and it's actually really close to me now that I'm on the south end of the city (near 85 and 87). I've done Santa Cruz and that park on the same day a few times and it's beautiful, and not as insanely crowded. |
It's very pretty—almost like a whole different world—and if you pick the right time, it's like having it all to yourself. Way cool.
