Correct, it was until The Time Lords released Pertwee from exile that he gained any control. Troughton and Hartnell, just went wherever the TARDIS took them. |
Except for in "The Daleks' Master-Plan," that is. The Doctor can control the TARDIS there. |
Ah, I still need to go through the Hartnell Recons, I got bored with the Historical ones, and quit. Havng gone through the Troughtons, I am anxious to give the Hartnell SciFi ones another chance
