Gerard Butler had me laughing the entire time, but as with my previous review of
Easy A, we have another
Friends star in the wrong role. I can't buy Jennifer Aniston as Nicole. She stands her own next to Butler, but whether it be typecasting or the fact she can't act, she's just not that interesting.
There is also the totally unneeded Jason Sudeikis character, who appears in a handful of scenes, but never adds anything to the movie. Take those out and put some more scenes of your leading couple in to improve their relationship.
A stellar date night movie, but not the Mona Lisa.
