Just to spite them? Sure. I don't have a problem with people eating meat, but someone takes an inferiority complex and points it at me, I'm going to run with it.
I don't like getting into arguments with people for two basic reasons:
1) I don't stay angry very long.
2) I'm usually quick to apologize if I feel I was wrong.
3) I never know when to quit.
