Just noticed that the first 2 Cold Equations books' Kindle editions are on sale on Amazon for 5.99 each. Good timing for me, and I thought there might be others here who might benefit. 
I finished Plagues of Night yesterday and have moved right into Raise the Dawn. I'll make a few comments when I finish the duology.
