Hmm...I always felt the design to be so timeless and still light-years ahead of our time that there wasn't really any need to make it look different.
What I really would consider to be "interesting" would be a presentation of a USS Enterprise
in dry-dock configuration, i.e. with all the exterior hatches extended / opened for repair and maintenance (as this is something I've never seen done before).
