I can't imagine why Skyfall
rates so highly. It's way to long for no good reason at all. I'm baffled by how thin the story was. And how it goes from place to place for no good reason except that the locations look cool and they are filmed in a Nolan-esque way. The bad guy is in Shanghai because Shanghai looks awesome on film. That's the only reason. He could have gone down the hall to beat up that bad guy. And that bad guy had a casino chip so Bond could have another gratuitous scene in a casino, which led him to yet another location, an island that looked like it belonged in Inception. This movie was pointless.
