TDKR, despite some flaws. Star Trek as a movie rates somewhere between "very good" to "excellent" for me, which is to say either seven or eight out of ten; it's a big dumb movie that retains the spirit of the show, but it's a big dumb movie.

Prometheus feels more cohesive but is intellectually bankrupt and is therefore never going to move higher than the friend zone as far as I'm concerned.

The Dark Knight Rises at least feels like it has authorial integrity of a kind and never really jumps the shark. It moves the character arcs along in a way that makes sense and provides some surprises of its own, not to mention an impressive and satisfyingly Vaderesque villain.
