Ugh, "Samaritan Snare" is even worse than I remembered. At the time, I probably thought the Pakleds were kinda fun in their dumb, stupid way, but now everything about them just makes me cringe. From their design to their overly idiotic portrayal.
And the fact the Enterprise crew seem genuinely
baffled for good long while about what to do just makes it even worse.
The B-story with Picard and Wesley is somewhat better, but I still couldn't help but laugh at the shots of shuttlecraft crawling along at what looks like 3mph. Lol
