But now that I've found this topic again, how about some more ships!
This first one I call the "Iron Dragon" and I imagine it as a predecessor to the Defiant-Class niche of a small(ish), fast attack escort.
This next one is one of my favorites, because it seems like one of the most likely to be a "real" ship. I call it the USS McChord Light Battle-Cruiser.
