I only noticed it because all traffic lights in the world have decided to hate me. In 3 decades I only got about 10 green traffic lights. All others turned red the moment I approached, regardless of whether I was driving myself or sitting in a taxi or bus.
Maybe they feel insulted because I prefer a bicycle over a car (so much quicker downtown and no parking space problems).
