Yup one of those things next to the wormhole would have deterred the dominion  but I would imagine it would take decades to build? Would have been cool to see starfleet make a start on building it during the series and we can see it begin to take shape
The interesting thing is that if they made a new station based show today then perhaps with cheap cgi and lots of bluescreen it could have been one of the mushroom type starbases ! |
