It might have been an awesome idea if they had written Future Guy with that in mind. Archer is so pedestrian though that I think this would have to be Archer having lived an extra few hundred years in some very different environment to make him into that person.
Unless you think Archer could end up like Captain Braxton after going mad because Porthos is murdered?
