My favorite classical composer is, without a doubt, Philip Glass. It's only because of him that I own any recordings of operas ( Einstein on the Beach, Monsters of Grace). And his soundtrack work is great as well (such as the Qatsi films). The endless repetitive electronic stuff isn't for everyone, but I likes it.
