That would be an interesting thing to explore, actually. If the Efrosians were indeed all blind, or at least has much less acute vision than most of the other races of the Federation, it would make for an interesting metaphorical examination of disabilities in humans to explore how exactly Efrosians function in such a situation. The Titan
series is uniquely positioned to do exactly that, as it's precisely about thinking you know about diversity, then realizing it's harder to make happen in practise than in theory, but still doing your best to work it out anyway. How an effectively blind species functions in a society when so much of that society is visually based would be a fascinating thing to explore. Or would that just be a replay of the Elaysians?
