I am currently struggling through 'Fallen Gods'. So far I think it is an improvement over 'Seize the Fire', but I'm not exactly loving it.
I would very much like to read a Titan novel written solo by Andy Mangels. I would also be interested in reading moreTitan novels by James Swallow...'Synthesis' is probably my single favorite stand alone in that series. |
I re-read Syntesis a while back, and it really was amazing. The only other Titan-novel that jumped out for me like that was Orion's Hounds, I grade them equeally. I just finished a re-read of Cathedral, a joint novel between Martin and Mangels. It's so much better then Martin's solo work, that I can't help but think that Mangels was the true writer of that duo. I like the idea's Martin has, but he just can't seem to get them to paper properly.
