It might be interesting to see some prefiguring. As always, your choice - you like the characters, then of course give them back story, etc.
One thing I would love to see is Sigrid and Simon beforehand. I get the feeling they weren't pals. Then it's even more hellish. Not only is she stuck, but she's stuck with someone she thinks is an ass. What did Sartre say?
