DS9 had loads to do after the war, it really could have carried on either with Sisko remaining or Kira in command. Once
Voyager got back home that's really it, the continued series would have to go off in numerous directions and nopt follow the strict everyone in one place format (kinda like the start of DS9 season 6, numerous storylines spread out all over the place).
