Would kinda undermine the only emotional aspect The Avengers film had. Stark became part of the team for good only when Coulson died. |
If he's part of the end credits scene, then Stark doens't necessarily have to know he's alive. After all, the lead characters aren't always involved in those post-credit scenes.
