An absolutely great game. My brother was still playing it as recently as last year, but I haven't for quite a few years now.
If you're a fan of 4X (eXplore, eXpand, eXploit, eXterminate) space games, why not try Distant Worlds? Only draw back is it's quite expensive and no demo sadly. However, it is worth it. I make Trek mods for it.
