The only other thing I've heard about is that letter the league sent to the owners, coaches and players telling them to respect the game and lay off the scrub refs. How dare the people on the field disrespect the game by questioning the replacement refs!  I can't believe the NFL could issue such an edict with a straight face. |
Well, there was the 15 yard penalty on John Harbaugh for trying to give the refs a hard time (he claimed he was just trying to get their attention to call a timeout). Either way, things are bad right now.
