Kick-Ass is one of the worst films I've ever seen. It's supposed to be a smart satire, but the script its awful, and the furthest thing from sharp. Though not a comic book movie, it's clear that the makers were trying to emulate the satire of a film like
Thank You For Smoking but they failed bad. That film was sharp and witty and always self-aware.
Supergirl is innocent fun for people that might have seen wit when it came out. It wasn't good but it certainly wasn't awful. children might like it.
