If I ever resurrect my web-comic, there's a gag in a related vein I'd like to depict. Instead of rubbing her fur the wrong way, someone starts toying with her ear. Every so often that person just barely brushes her ear, causing it to flick. Finally about the fourth and fifth time, she spins her head to catch the annoying digit between her teeth, not breaking the skin, but a wicked gleam in her eye as though threatening to do so.
Back when I had cats, I'd stroke their heads. I remember doing it to Whiskers, and she'd lower her ears each time. And because I was doing it rhythmically, she'd anticipate it. Then I stopped stroking her, but she still lowered hear hears. She didn't react, but I thought it was funny.
But I was very young...
