A Sugar Daddy is a man who showers a younger person (male or female) in lavish gifts in order to secure their affections. In return, the younger person in the relationship bestows love and attention, or sexual favors, upon the older male.
It is also a delicious, caramel confection. I am, however, referring to the first definition.
