Nah, some PBS stations had it in the late 80's - early 90's, but they lost so much NEA money , I doubt they'd go for it now. |
Personally, I lost a lot of respect for the local PBS station here in Tempe, AZ when they stopped airing
Red Dwarf on Saturday nights. Now, their Saturday nights are dominated by all those crappy British old people sitcoms (
As Time Goes By, Keeping Up Appearances, Last of the Summer Wine, Waiting for God). Oh, and don't forget the endless reruns of
The Lawrence Welk Show.
