The second point is certainly true, although my PBS affiliate (in the Seattle-area) carried Red Dwarf all the way through series VIII in 1999. |
Yeah, Chicago PBS never had RD, but channel 10 from Milwaukee did.
Though it was hit or miss whether I could get that on a TV with an antenna. I only ever saw one or two episodes before I got the DVD's.
