It was too stupid for me to take much of the action seriously. The DNZ finale is impossible to watch without wondering about the political consequences (and the heroes' impossibility of escape). The attack on the terrorist summit -- which happens to take place in an otherwise empty skyscraper that can be destroyed without causing any civilian casualties -- is a too stupid for me to be invested in it. The physics-defying debris that flocks to Jessica Biel's character after she has ejected fails to surpass even the lousy standards movie physics. The visual effects aren't awful, but in the absence of anything of real interest, who cares?
