It took five minutes to lay out the character in The Wrath of Khan
. Everything you needed to know was presented on what was left of the Botany Bay.
I'm positive the uninitiated had little trouble following TWOK.
So Khan, Mitchell or a new guy, they're still going to spend five to ten minutes on character exposition and motivations.
