Could argue that slashing the budget and replacing the showrunner after only 6 episodes, and doing so to a hit show, would point to the AMC exec's not being all that different from their peers.
Something was working well, so their first instinct was to immediately screw with it and see if it could get by on less so the profit numbers go up a bit... |
