Despite having a Green Arrow on SV go by that name perhaps they are actually giving audiences some credit in name association.
Thus trying to distance from any confusion with:
Green Hornet
Green Lantern
Both of which were not stellar?
Green descriptive=Lower quality
Just a guess.
