Domestically, it grossed slightly less than the original ($254 vs. $277 million). Internationally, the sequel blew the original out of the water ($190 million vs. $327 million). There will undoubtedly be a third film (unfortunately).

Pirates! Band of Misfits
: This wasn't Aardman's finest achievement, but like all of their work in film and television, it was delightful and at times very funny. The voice over cast is great and the animation, as expected, is very imaginative and technically amazing. Plus, when will an American animated film have Charles Darwin as a character who gets some of the best lines in the movie?
